Fancy a morning exploring the woodland around Miallet Lake? The Lock Inn invites you to join us for a special 9km Mushroom Walk with Andy the Mushroom Man, discovering the fascinating world of fungi in the heart of the Périgord Vert.

Bring your walking boots, wrap up for the autumn weather and get ready to explore the beautiful countryside around Lac du Barrage de Miallet.

Join Andy the Mushroom Man as we head out on a 9km walk, identifying various fungi and enjoying the natural beauty of the Miallet area.

Whether you’re a keen mushroom enthusiast, a nature lover or simply fancy a refreshing countryside walk, everyone is welcome!

Bring your curiosity, your camera and your enthusiasm for the great outdoors. You never know what we might discover along the way! 🍄

🍺 The Adventure Doesn’t End at the Lake!

After our walk, all are welcome to head back to The Lock Inn for a snack and a pint afterwards!

Come and relax, share stories from the walk and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere of The Lock Inn, your village destination for independent craft beer, local cider and friendly tastings.

There’s no better way to round off an autumn morning than with good company, a tasty snack and a well-earned drink.

We’ll meet at the car park at Miallet Lake (Lac du Barrage), ready to set off at 10:00am.

The lake and surrounding countryside offer a beautiful setting for a morning outdoors in the Périgord Vert.
